Surfside Smile Co. Welcomes Girl Scouts for a Totally Tooth-tastic Day

This April, our office was buzzing with energy as we hosted local Girl Scout troops from the Jersey Shore for a day full of smiles, science, and sparkle. It was our second time teaming up with the Scouts for a hands-on dental experience — and let’s just say, these girls brought the tooth fairy energy.

Sealants, Stuffed Animals & Curing Lights — Oh My!

After a quick tour of our surf-chic office (yes, we floss and ride waves), the Scouts met our most cooperative patient — a giant stuffed animal — who helped us demo dental tools and what really happens during a cleaning. Then came the fan favorite: a sealant station where the girls got to play dentist and apply pretend sealants using real curing lights and tooth models. Hands-on learning? Check. Future dental pros in the making? Double check.

Tooth Fairy Boxes & Badge Bling

While one group played with sealants, another got crafty decorating their very own tooth fairy boxes — because protecting smiles should come with glitter. Each Scout left with her dental hygiene badge proudly earned, plus a certificate and some Surfside Smile Co. goodies to remember the day.
